Runnymede Young Life

The Story So Far...

Young Life Runnymede began in 2000 when a group of parents began meeting to pray for young people in the international school communities around Thorpe and Egham. The area was originally called Surrey Berks!

Soon a parent committee formed and they invited Young Life International staff to begin youth work with young people in these communities. ​

We were called "Surrey Berks", because those are the two counties where most of our international students live!

in 2025 we decided to change our name to Runnymede Young Life in hopes to localize our ministry and make a larger impact in our local community. Our mission is still the same, introducing adolescents to Jesus Christ and helping them grow in their faith.

If you're a young person or student, you’re invited. And if you're an adult who cares about young people, there are a number of ways to get involved.

We promise three things: you'll have outrageous fun, you’re welcome here and we'll talk about what really matters in life - including God's extravagant love for you.
